Intel Reportedly Receives Approval for US$605 Mln Vietnam Plant

According to a report by Reuters, the Vietnamese government has approved an application from Intel for a license to build a US$605 million chip assembly plant in the Saigon Hi-Tech Park in Ho Chi Minh City. The report stated that the license will be officially issued during a ceremony on February 28, which will be attended by Intel CEO Craig Barrett.
